30 years in California

Posted by berkeleyscot on October 17, 2008

We didn’t mean to stay for so long and we didn’t plan to make California home.

I didn’t plan to get arthritis and Richard didn’t mean to have a 60th birthday.

I didn’t mean to be concerned about the economy.

I’m living in the greatest country in the World and I’m often told, if I don’t like it, to go home.

USA is not the greatest country in the world.

The world is now a wee neighbourhood.

And we’re all going to glued to the TV when Bristol Palin marches down the aisle.

It will be a royal wedding. To hell or palin with the election.

In Scotland a palin is a wooden fence.

Jump ower that my quine.
